St Christopher’s is a member of the Southwark & Newington Deanery, in the Diocese of Southwark, known as the Lancelot Andrewes Deanery.
We work together as local churches for mission and ministry in this area, including organising the Deanery Youth Summer Camp.

Bishop Lancelot Andrewes (1555-1626) was an Anglican Bishop and scholar who trained at Pembroke Hall (later Pembroke College), Cambridge and was later Bishop of Winchester (which covered the area that is now South London). He is buried at Southwark Cathedral, which is also in our Deanery.
