Celebration Sundays
On special occasions throughout the year, our Sunday Parish Mass is followed by a church lunch and party. Everyone is welcome – there is always plenty of food. There is usually a raffle or auction to raise money for the church or for charity.
Candlemas – In February, this festival takes place 40 days after Christmas and marks the end of our Christmas celebrations.
St Christopher’s Day – In July, we celebrate the festival of our Patron Saint.
Harvest Festival – In October, we give thanks for all our blessings and gifts from God, especially our food and drink. We encourage people to bring donations to support Southwark Foodbank.
Advent by Candlelight
In December we hold an Advent service of readings and music sung by the Chapel Choir of Pembroke College, Cambridge. The service is followed by dinner, to which everyone is welcome.
Pembroke College Visit
Every year we visit Pembroke College, Cambridge. We very much enjoy our visits to the College, including worship with the College community in the historic Chapel, a delicious lunch, and exploring the sights of Cambridge.
Parish Picnic
Our Young Adults Group organise a parish picnic after mass one Sunday, with games and activities for the whole Church family.
